Salvia argentea

Best grown for the foliage, Salvia argentea is biennial if permitted to flower.  And, these flowers are rather insignificant as Salvias go. Most gardeners prevent flowering in order to prolong the life of this beautiful plant.

Salvia hians Seed posing as S. hians is usually for some other Salvia sp.   The correct seeds must be shield-shaped, and are never round.
