This
annual grows to about 1 1/2 ft. high, and is very sensitive to frost.
In flower, there are 10 to 12 eyeballs at a time. The seedlings are
very attractive to garden slugs, and must be protected by holding them in
pots until mature. The photo shows three plants in a 12" pot, brought in
for the winter where it seems to be thriving. They could make a good
houseplant in a well-lit, but cool room.
